Human is characterized by the ability to solve problems and make tools. We developed science to explain our observations; we created technology to face challenges and improve living standard.
A life of technology is the human history marked by our tools to explore the frontier. Began in the jungles in African, we concurred the lands, the mountains and the sea. Now, we are reaching out to the universe. We run slowly, but a car can take us over 70 miles per hour; we cannot fly, but a plane can take us to the sky; we hate isolation, but the Internet is linking up the whole world; we can feel tired, so computers automated the information processing.
A life of technology is also the pathetic fate of technologies. A technology is like a human being. Once raised up, it enters the market to make a living. Losing the market is like an athlete failing the race: years of "hard training" receives no reward. A large market share makes a super star, which, nevertheless,eventually becomes something hardly noticeable.
Our world is in the change. What is defining our technological stage? Where is the next star? I'm monitoring...
